6-10-12, 20 incher from the yak!

Took the yak out to enjoy the hot weather......

Was fishing deep with different jigs and spoons. This one hit as soon as my offering landed!

Big mouth....

....but long and slender.

This is how I cooled off!

Thats Cedar right? Looks like fun. I took my new kayak out on Beaverdam today to enjoy the weather and the only thing I got was a sunburn.

I am new to the area and am really curious where Cedar is... I hear a lot about it but am not sure where it is located.  Any help?  I live right on Pavilion and it has produced nothing worth talking about this year so far...

BBM- as you come south on AV Blvd you pass the big lake with the island. That's Ashburn lake. Next up (connected) is Alder which is the 3rd one down of the ABC Lakes (A= Alder, B= Beech, C=Cedar).

ahhh I see.  I always thought Alder had the island.  So Alder is the smaller, connected one.  Then Beech southwest of that, then Cedar.  Got it!  Thanks!!!

For some reason google maps says Ashburn Lake is Alder Lake. I thought the same thing.

Even Google can be incorrect.

Probably an attempt to mislead the lurkers.
