Hit it at the perfect time, right before that front roared through the area. It was very windy to be throwing a popper on the fly rod but I hyng with it and wound up with 60 fish, half LM, half sunfish. The sunfish in this lake are on the beds, and smash anything thrown near them. Biggest sunnies I've caught in a long time, most were the size of my hand, alot of fun on the fly rod hitting topwater. I upsized to a big black popper and started catching LM on almost every cast.
Fun, fun day, started pouring as soon as I came off the lake.
