Post OP Fishing Part-II

Walked down to Alder with a crappie jig.  Picked off 3 small crappie at Ashburn on the way.  Caught 11 more at Alder.  Nothing over 10" and all appeared to be males.  Probably need a little warm spell for the females to go back shallow (if they haven't already spawned out).  Those 2 miles of walking were much more enjoyable than the other 2 sets of 2 miles of just walking, earlier today.  Today marks 2 weeks since the heart surgery smile .

Re: Post OP Fishing Part-II

Gentle side arm casting (all wrist/forearm action) was approved by my surgeon as long as it does not cause any pain at the incision area big_smile .......and told me that I cannot catch any fish over 5 lbs lol .......no striper fishng until mid-late May.  He also told me no use of my bow or rifles/shotguns until after July/Aug sad .  Saw the surgeon for the last time on Friday and he has handed me off to my cardiologist smile .

Awesome recovery timeline plus you get to fish. Can't beat it!

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

30-Mar    35:1.68                              (35:1.68)         20.83
31-Mar    32:1.63, 36:1.86,47:2.56     (115:6.05)       19.01
1-Apr    35:2.00, 35:2.04                 (70:4.04)          17.32
2-Apr    35:2.07, 35:2.02, 37:2.06    (107:6.15)         17.23
3-Apr    48:2.82, 47:2.70                 (95:5.52)          17.24

Almost 40 miles in 12 hours over 11 days so far..................... smile   My I-Touch with the Nike Application makes the walks easier with music and accurate time/distance measurements big_smile .

It will be a while before I can exceed the "no wake" speed limit lol .
