Kinda Cold Today

Wind was blowing for my boat shakeout day. Cold too. The target was crappie from many spots for research. Well they did not bite very well. Light nibbles and many missed fish shows they are not turned on yet. Need a few more warm days and nights.
A few LGmouth hit early before the winds let up.

We did land 6 nice crappie. Only one had any color to it.

Re: Kinda Cold Today

I fished crappie on a farm pond that has good numbers.

total lockjaw

i was wacking them with ease the other day

finally managed to land one

bass had zero interest as well

this was a pretty severe cold front in my estimation

the slick water after several days of strong wind didnt help-particularly in my mind

i had light hits that i assumed were bluegill, altho the possibility that they were crappie exists
