After a pretty rough couple weeks of fishing I managed to land a really nice smallmouth and hefty largemouth. Both caught on a segmented rapala. They were caught right at the discharge run off of 4MR. I think the shad may be starting to come in. There were fish (looked like shad) trying to launch themselves into the discharge there.




on a side note. Last week while walking up one of the feeder creeks i came across a dead snakehead. it was pretty fresh but missing its eyes (very creepy).
