2-25-12 First Crappie of 2012
Went out today after tiefest which ignited the urge to fish even in this horrible weather and got my first crappie of the year.
It only went 8" but i was happy.
about 15 mins later after getting multiple bites that i didnt connect with i get a solid tug on the line and reel in this 10.5" bass. It put up a good fight on light tackle.
Happy to get out even if i cant feel my face or fingers...

Thanks! no i used the bobber technique today. i am trying the dropshot rig tomorow...
