I saw him out there while walking yesterday....he was pounding a bank.

That looks like a very nice fish!

Looks like that bass is 18", but hard to tell with the quality of the pic with ruler.

But I'd bet his shoes are size 14+ based on what I see!

Hopefuly, he'll post the final results from today!

i thought that bass was every bit of 4 pounds

length to weight chart says not quite

sorry the pic came out so lousy

I came up with about 65" for the day, so I still would trail Master John by 4" or more

I was fishing for a kicker or two when I met our new GAME WARDEN

Very nice guy, but he had his ticket pad handy

Good thing I was in compliance.

With that I called it a day.

Winter fishing is tough. You work a long time for bites.

Not easy to spend 4 to five hours feeling for the slightest tic- especially when you miss one or two of them
