Tyler was out fishing after school (as usual) and I finally got a chance to go with him. Went to one of the ponds with my brand new Falcon BuCoo spinning rod (7' med/fast) and a Black/Blue/Brown jig (Curly's recommendation). Tyler was catching a couple (12 inchers). My 3rd or 4th cast I got hit with a nice heavy pressure, set the hook and realized this wasn't just another 1 lber. Got this nice fat healthy 5 lber. It may not be a giant compared to what others have caught, but it is my biggest LMB ever and I am celebrating with a beer right now and a huge smile on my face!! See pics below.
20 inches. She has this large black spot on his left gill. It isn't a leaf or dirt. Good way to track who catches her next.

Cleaned up nicely now! There would be 10-15 "guests" all over that spot.........the next nice day we have. You'll notice that I do not post what lakes I'm catching these 3-4 pound bass in recently..............or let the pic give it away. Too many guests/non-residents (lurkers) on this board looking for easy pickins
