Won a New Rod!

I participated in a youth challenge tournament that was held on kayakbassfishing.com which was the second tournament i had ever been in (first being the BRHS fall tourny) and won!!...AGAIN.

I won with this almost 19 in caught on a wacky worm under a dock in what was supposedly a "dead lake" in the Adirondacks... apparently not.

I won a G Blanks custom spinning rod which retails for $125. It is a beauty!!

I decided to pair it with my shimano sahara 3000 and the combo is light...really light!!

I cant wait to get out and use it when it gets warmer.

Join New Horizon Bass Anglers, they have lots if bass tourneys on the Potomac, $10 enty fee.

There are a few tourney on the Bay that are worthwhile. You can fish on a boat or yak. They are alwaysys mentioned on the site. One is in June and the other in September.

Re: Won a New Rod!

Sounds like a good place to start thanks mr. Rojas!! My friend just bought the boat i was talking about ( tracker pro guide v 165) which is pretty much a mini version of yours. we were planning on getting into tournament fishing and didnt know were to start. That looks like a good option... cant wait till it warms up again to try out the boat.
