Myself, Hunter, and Derek met at my house at 11pm monday night to hit the HRBT since you could start keeping at midnight. We paddled around and couldnt find rockfish. Talked to a bunch of other yakers and no one could find any. IT was an incoming tide so they would have been on the westbound side, but the lights were broken on that side. Nothing on eastbound side. Also to make things difficult the wind was moving opposite way of tide. I ended up catching around 10 bluefish and a grey trout. I really just want to catch some striper!!!

Funny how sometimes the fish almost seem to be aware of seasons and size limits. Thanks for the report.

Nope, little guys. They had one Tuesday night.

I was there twice in three week. It looked striper and speck weren't there. I hope they show up when the weather becomes cooler.
Next time I drove to HRBT, CBBT or Kipto I will let you know. I am planning to hit Kipto. If I drive alone, I should pick you up at a parking lot, especially I am heading for Kipto, to save the toll and entrance fee. My phone number is 703-282-3816. I hope I can hit kipto soon. I will be fishing for Tog, Flounder and Striper
