It's all Curly's fault!
My original plan was to hit the Pointe on Friday and Saturday (that is what I have done before). But....Curly wanted some white perch pullage and the 2nd was the best date since his schedule was tight.

T- It's just 2 so far. If we get a 3rd we can do the shuttle...still have some time!

I might be interested. In Bogota right now and it's 60 degrees and light cool rain. Forgot what a cool rain felt like.

I'm on the Isle of Man right now and it's been about 60 most of the time, sunny today, but some rain when I first got here and expected later in the week.

I've been watching this thread since it started. I have surgery the following Friday so I'll let you know closer to LD weekend. Don't know what the wife will plan for my time.

Not sure if I want to float the Potomac....it has been dirty (no grass) and we may get some rain from Miss Irene. need to look for a back up plan.
Offline
NOAA only predicting Little Falls to go from 2.9 to 3.5 feet. Most of the rain will not be in the western Potomac watershed. Lower Potomac will be a different story!
I'm debating going to Algonkian this afternoon.................
Offline
The Potomac is still dirtier than it should which has affected the fishing a bit. Some of the river rats form PRSC have been lamenting this....lack of grass.

OK....the river looks fine and if we don't get a ton of rain, I think we can do the float. We definitely found some good water but most of it has a green tint, probably from algae.
My canoe is rented out already for this event.
Offline
I have a canoe available if anyone wants to use it. let me know.

If I am in town count me & a buddy.
Would a Jon boat with outboard work? or should I bring the canoe?
Offline
OK....should we do Lander to POR? Any other ideas?
So far:
Ernie- yak
Curly- Ernie's canoe
S2- His canoe (or you can float the jon but there are rocks to deal with....)
T.- ?
Bob- ?
Sunrise is at 0642 so we can get to POR (will need to drop off a couple of vehicles) at 0620 (leave Ashburn at 0555).

I hope to attend but im still waiting on my work assignment. I could literally be anywhere in the USA at the end of the week. If I am still local ill be there!

T. is on the other side of the pond.....let's wait to hear from him.
Are you solo or is Ellen joining you in the canoe? if solo, you can use a yak as I am not very fond of canoes.....
