Went to the low water bridge by 647 on the doah. We got there around 6 and fished up 3 miles then at 11 we paddled back and and got to the truck at 12.  There was  a good amount of walking because of the shallow rapids.  WE both a caught a good amount fish around 12 inches, but my boss hooked into a 4lber up by the dam.  I wish I had went that far, but I was fishing a nice eddy I found.  He caught most of his on a soft small swimbait and I did well with the tube.  Smallmouth are a lot of fun!
