Hitting "secret" location with John Odenkirk tomorrow!

It's not close to here.  John invited me to be a "dipper" for an electroshocking study.  Will we find snakeheads?  Report to follow.............

We hit Aquia Creek and went waaayyyy back.  Got 21 snakeheads. Tagged and released 16 and kept these 5 for Odenkirk to do necropsies on tomorrow.

Shocked up a few big crabs.  Normal stick tags with 1-800 # and tag ID #.  He's trying to see if there is much movement of the larger fish.  Also caught some 2" fingerlings from a recent hatch!

That's interesting because today I saw what looked like a school of fry being guarded by one (maybe two) NSH.

There was interesting article in Epicurian about Wolfgang Puck wanting to buy all the NSH meat up he could find. For the DC resturant The Source..He said it was the best fish he ever cooked.

Let me know if you need a hunting partner!

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
