The contractor I work for and me took the day off to fish in his jon.  Got up at 3 30 and was on the water by 5.  He was tying stuff on as we started to drift away from the ramp down the bank so I just started casting my spinnerbait and on the second cast wham I hooked into the biggest bass I had ever caught which was 6.5lbs!!!  It was a white and gold spinnerbait.  After a couple hours of absolutely nothing my boss caught a nice 2lb bass.  Then I hooked into another big boat and freakin lost him under the boat.  Boss saw him and said he was at least 4 or 5.  I was ticked, but couldnt be mad for long as I had the huge guy.  It was a hard lake to fish,but we plan on going again next week if he can afford a day off.

Just for yalls knowledge.  Lake fredrich is sooooo clear.  You can see 10+ ft down clearly.  When sitting 20 yards off the shore you are in 18ft-24ft in the areas we fished so it is huge drop offs.  All the structure is trees growing out of the water and laydowns, only a very small amount of rocks and grass as structure.




Then Mr. Rojas and I hit riverbend for a couple of hours before PRSC boat night.  I only hooked 2 and lost both under the stupid yak unfortunately.  The highlight of my night though was getting to drive a jet powered kayak!!!!! That think was sweeetttt!!
