10-27-07, Cedar Lake report

I hit Cedar Lake for about 45 minutes this afternoon.....very pleasant temperatures, blue bird sky and a little windy.

At first, I used a small hair jig with a 4 " straight worm and it was inhaled by a feisty 1.5 lb largemouth. I lost another one just like it right at the shore. I switched lures and went to a whacky worm and never got a hit. So I switched again, this time to a Daiwa Minnow and this guy hit it!

Must have been hungry!

To me, fishing Cedar is still frustrating as I spend more time taking algae off my hooks than I do fishing.
