Myself, two friends from the CNU team, my friend from home, and one of there friends from home floated the doah for 3 days. We started about 10 miles above compton rapids. Friday morning downriver canoe company dropped us off up there. We floated all day and only caught some small fish. We then camped right below the compton rapids. We then floated on Saturday all the way down to where there a lot of island. We caught more fish on saturday, but they were all still small (12"-15") except for the 19" beauty Jason caught. On sunday we only went 4 miles and caught a few more smallies. It was a great trip with friends. We ate well as we had soft crabs and deer meat each night. The water was nice to swim in and although the fishing was not great we had a good time. Packing the yak was easier than I thought, but boy it was heavy to carry. I cannot wait to do another trip like this!
All the fish were caught on tubes, grubs, and small cranks.
Here are the pics
