Hains Point?

Anybody ever fished Hains Point? I've heard that white perch can be caught from the park there. I prefer to fish with lures but my freezer is empty and I'm craving white perch so I figured I might go dunk some bait. Anyone have tips?

Re: Hains Point?

Dan- that's a surf rod game. Perch are on the middle of the channel, most guys use bait.

But.....you can dip net getting along the wall.

Call Lydia, take a buddy and go in Carl's boat to the red marker by Marshall Hall ramp or go up to Spout Run. You know where they are, Carl showed you.

Time to go fishin' again!

Re: Hains Point?

Those white perch are some good eating. I know Mott's Run reservoir has them. I haven't fished for them there but I've heard it can be decent. Abel has a few as well. I've only fished for bass in the Hains Point area.
