Pavillion 3-20 record day for me

So i start at about 10:30.  park near the pool and throw my first cast near the first bridge. Using my favorite lime green swim bait.  nothin...switch over to my chrome lipless crank.  15 minutes later, 4 fish caught. all near a pound.   found what there hitting on.  I decided to use the curly approach to fishing so 5 minutes per spot.  no fish, move on.. i avoided the very shallow back bay areas after catching everything out in the deeper stuff.  I ended the day at about 6:30 with 50-55 fish caught. most 1-1.5#.  All were 15-25 feet off shore on a retreive just fast enough to get the lipless crank to wobble...

the best spots for me were the last opening before the first (real) bridge between first bridge and pavilion.  also had some good luck on far side casting towards center on both sides of the bay on the townhouses side of water.

Nice work.  You had about 20 when I bumped into you out there.  I stuck with a spinnerbait and ended up with a little over a dozen in a hour.

Re: Pavillion 3-20 record day for me

I am not the expert, maybe Andy will weigh in.

Both Saturday and Sunday were good fishing days according to the Lunar deal.....

Here is the info for Saturday:

Major Times- 12:41 AM - 2:41 AM and  1:08 PM - 3:08 PM

Minor Times- 6:45 AM - 7:45 AM & 7:40 PM - 8:40 PM

For Sunday:

Major Times- 1:35 AM - 3:35 AM & 2:03 PM - 4:03 PM

Minor Times- 7:19 AM - 8:19 AM & 8:56 PM - 9:56 PM

Look at the times you were out there and see if it corresponds with the results.
