I was up at the Rocky Gorge Resort for a Men's Retreat and the plan was to fish Lake Habeeb (240 acres)......



.....during our afternoon 4 hour break. That picture was before the winds came in (up to 35mph)!!!



Anyway, I spent most of the time windsurfing (and getting wet).

No bites for me or the other guys who were shore fishing.

We had three strikes on us anyway:

1. Front moved in the night before
2. Windy as all get out
3. Blue bird day

The lake has lots of coves and some manmade structure. It looks like it has potential and they say the lake is home to panfish, trophy trout, large and smallmouth bass. It's 118 miles from my house.
