Lake Anna WP and LM - Jan 22, 2011

I launched at 1:30PM.   I had 3.5 hours for fishing.  I decided to troll 10 miles (round trip) to find spots for WP and LM regardless hook ups .   I used  Crank-bait as my search bait.

Here is the Video fishing Log:

10 MILES???? Wow. I am going to need a hobie to fish with you!

Looks like you still had a good day out there! Sorry things didn't work out after I had made other plans, we'll figure it out one of these weekends. Is there a launch closer to the warm water discharge? I've gotten lazy after fishing all summer out of hemmingways... need to get ready for Jamaica Bay this May.

Redfish,

There must be private ramps.  But I do not have access to them.  But, I think We don't have to paddle out 3-4 miles to the hot water. I confirmed that WP and LM are there where the water is 50F.  I think that even though the air temp stays low next few weeks, the water temp will stay above 50F near Dike 2.  Dike 2 is about  1.8-2 miles from the launch. But it is a nice and effortless paddling because the water is calm.

Thanks,
Joe

I like the way you post these videos. I gotta get better at doing that.
