Went in search of the Pavilion Pig this morning. Saw someone (yellow ball cap) out there in a green yak, so I had to "stealth" to my honey hole without being detected . Was using a P&J and picked off 4 bass right away in 8-10' deep water.......nothing over 2 lbs. Made a cast to about 10-12' and get a light pick-up. Set the hook and the battle is on. It's not the "Pavilion Pig", but one of its piglets. Weighed it on the scales and teetered between 5-1 and 5-2.......never would settle on one or the other. Very fat and obviously had been gorging. The photo doesn't really do the fish justice.
A lady walking by was nice enough to take a pic for me..........too far off though . Picked off another small bass 2 casts later and called it.

The zoom helps a little (and thanks!), but I should have had another pic of its thickness/belly.
Went back again today on the way home from work and caught 4 more from the same hole, but all under 14".
