Beaverdam Res 8/1/10

The day started nice and cool. I wanted to get out on the water but wasn't sure if the weather was going to hold up. I decided to go anyway and caught this nice looking one on a deep diving crank.

Bringing her in.

My biggest out of this reservoir. She was in 15ft of water as I was casting parallel to the drop. I also missed another good one on a baby brush hog.

Nice! I've tried my luck at Beaverdam, but never seem to catch many fish there. Seems like they're deeper holding next to structure, which means I'd need a depth/fish finder to locate and mark them. That, or paddle around throwing and praying.

Thanks!

Indeed, I've been catching them in 10 - 15 ft of water.
