I met John Hill at 6 AM and in a few minutes, we launched the yaks in search of some big bass.



We worked areas in 4-6' of water on teh southern bank but had no hits so we moved to the 2nd island where I picked up this little thing.



It is a very fishy area....



...and perhaps this guy did better than we did.

I caught two LMB, no keeper sized ones. I also had a few other bites but it really was slow.

I did find the deeper water but it was devoid of marks.

Maybe in the fall.....

Khahn came out and we chatted a while. He was denied access to the launch ramp due to a swim meet....what's up with that?

Rob came out with his buddy Marvin (I think that's his name) but they didn't hang around for long.

We had a nice breeze which kept us comfortable but we took out at 10AM and called it a day.
