Interested to get out tomorrow after work. Don't know a lot of the ponds mentioned here but have been interested to try Beaverdam. Is it best to use a kayak or other boat there? Or maybe the Potomac somewhere? I've wade fished Riverbend a few times with some success in the past. Or the tidal section. Tide is high at 6pm. Recommendations?
I'm in Tyson's and can leave by 3:30pm if anyone is interested to hook up.

John Thursday is the 22nd..
I would love to do some fishing Thursday but I hafta (SMIB lingo) prep for a weekend on the Dragon and the Bay.
From Tysons I have many times ran to Algonquin for the evening topwater.. less traffic BTW

John- I wish I could but I promised my youngest that I would cook him some NSH on Thursday!
For BDR, a kayak is best!

Dang! Talk about brain lock. Tomorrow, the 22nd I have a pass!! Sounds like the upper Potomac is a good bet. Thanks Mike!

John if you're game I could show you a few spots down here that might yield some NSH

No worries, guys. If I get out I will post results. I am pushing it though, since I'm off tomorrow and my wife and I are camping in the Shenandoah National Park over the weekend. I'm gonna miss my A/C !
Any suggestions for fishing holes up there?

Go to http://www.murraysflyshop.com/ stream report to find out conditions and hot spots (no pun intended)
