Depending on the date, I would love to join you guys on this one. Is the area safe for a SINK?

Re: Snakeheads by kayak!

I dont know who Ernie has in mind for the guide and I dont want to stick my own foot in my mouth so soon but if you guys are going with me the area we would fish is sink safe, it's no more than 6' deep at the deepest and clear, there is current from the tidal influence but it's nothing you UP guys aren't use too

Re: Snakeheads by kayak!

Thai....I was playing off the fact that you have had success there so YOU are the guide....unofficial of course.

I think it would be great to get a few kayaks out there for a NSH hunt!

We take the bass boat out there all the time, it's plenty of water for even the 20'ers

Re: Snakeheads by kayak!

I sure hope this trip happens, should be a lot of fun. I was wondering if maybe Thai could post a small list of his favored snakehead lures so we all could be ready when the time comes.

They love frogs and that is what Thai catches them on the most.

Re: Snakeheads by kayak!

I'm new to the group but I'd love to come out and try to catch a NSH! I've got the yak ready to go just about any evening, now I just need to get some frogs!
