"No Fishing" signs at AV

I remember someone posting a picture of one of the "No Fishing" signs at the AV lakes. Someone on another forum is disputing my statement that the ponds are private. Can someone link me to the picture of one of those signs so I can enlighten this fellow?

Dang, thanks anyway Curly.

I know it's not my business since I'm not a resident but I hate when people encourage trespassing and broadcast inaccurate information that is available for any random person who can use Google, especially because I know the difficulties you residents have had with trespassing and poachers and the amount of money that goes into maintaining the ponds.

I disagree...it is your business and your concern is MUCH appreciated!

Many thanks to Dan and Andrew for their resource management skills.

I had 15 minutes between calls, jumped in the truck and took two quick pictures....got them up before getting back to business.

Re: "No Fishing" signs at AV

And the sign said anybody caught trespassing would be shot on sight
So I jumped on the fence and yelled at the house, Hey! what gives you the right
To put up a fence to keep me out or to keep mother nature in
If God was here, he'd tell you to your face, man you're some kinda sinner

Sign Sign everywhere a sign
Blocking out the scenery breaking my mind
Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign

I couldn't help myself, always liked that song

Long haired freaky people need not apply...

Ernie, Sorry I didn't answer when you called, I was in a rush to get ready for work.

Thanks for the pictures. That guy would just not believe me without concrete proof...I don't know why he just came out and called me a liar without checking his facts.

Re: "No Fishing" signs at AV

btw, for the record:

Aren't there signs at all the AV lakes? This guy is arguing with me that there aren't signs at some of the other ponds. I know he fishes the library pond and I wasn't sure about that one but I was fairly certain there were signs at Heron, ABCs, Pavilion, and Ashburn.

I was never freaky like Ernie. I did have the long hair after the Navy. Still have the hair, but now it's much shorter and all white.

I think he is mixing Ashburn Farm or other area 'hoods for the Village. All of the AV ponds have signs, I just took a quick ride to get the easiest.

Never freaky...had long hair (not that long) and a beard but after my Navy tour, I got squared away!
