Potomac River 6/6-6/7

On Sunday I met up with my friend who just got his first bass boat (19ft Basscat).  We took it to Leesylvania, but after less than a hour of fishing we had to leave, because of boat advisory and a tornado warning.  We are planning on trying again this weekend

On Monday after work my Dad and I went to Algonkian.  We fished Goose Creek and a couple of islands.  I ended up with 3 smallies, 2 lmb, and a bluegill.  The bluegill was hooked underneath the mouth by a 3/0 hook and it was bleeding everywhere.  I through topwater, spinnerbait, tubes, but most of my luck was on a senko.  My dad caught 2 bluegill and a smallie on a jerkabait.

This was the biggest lmb that went 2.5lbs and 16.5"

That's a good sized LMB for up there. Nicely done.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
