Had some wicked storms that cleared the water of all boats. ;D After the storm passed with only an hour delay in our trip we headed out to some very nice cool weather.. We got 30 nice LGMouth and my first snakehead of the season. Some great pics to share.
Wow what a great trip.

Yes it was.....I will post more pictures tomorrow.
Jeff and I had a great time despite the fact they CLOSED 495 on us on the way home!
If you like to bass fish (or if you just like to fish or have fun), you need to take this trip with Capt. Mike.
Spectacular evening.....!

Sounds awesome! What'd the snakehead bite?
Ernie, I was coming home from dropping Thai off in Alexandria the other night and had to take a long detour as well. How the heck can they close the beltway?!?!?

As we waited (and ate ribs & chicken) for the storm to clear, I saw a bass boat come in and one of the anglers looked familiar. I yelled out to him and sure enough, it was Robert Dozier who I have known for over 20 years after I brought him up from South Carolina to be one of my sales managers back in 1990. We had been monitoring the weather and told him to stay put as it looked like the worst was over. Sure enough, he and his cousin went back on out there. We were right behind him!
Small world!
This creek is nature at its best. Here are some shots of the scenery starting with an eagle!
And some very fishy places....
Here, Jeff gets hit way back in the pads.....
.....and we have to go in for the rescue!
This trip was one for the memory bank...it was cool to witness Jeff's 1st snakehead!
Many thanks Capt. Mike.....you run a 1st Class operation!
