love mon night

the senko has been the ticket

caught some better fish
a 2.5 and a 2.0

one thing i do: when a senko cracks above midway- like when you throw it non wacky weightless, i take it, bite it off at the weak part, re- rig it short, and catch as many or more bass on the remnant.

senko are quite salty

i also prefer the senko because  while the bait has great heft, it plops more gently than the knock offs.
i thro it on 4# line. being able to wing it a long way is good in clear water, where spooky fish live, then the soft entry gets alot of drop strikes.

i was doing this w/ a strike king senko, and it would hit the water much heavier, even when i tried to pitch it short, or finger brake the line on a long cast
