Pavilion & Alder/Introductions

Hey Gang,

I'm brand new to the forum, and my name is Alex. I met Ernie a few days ago and we got to talking about the website, so I joined.

Anyways, I wanted to report a couple of my findings of late. At the Pavilion & Alder my buddy and I have been killing 'em at all hours of the day, for the past couple days. He's has been throwing (and me a lil bit too) a XR8 Rapala X-Rap (blue/orange/yellow) and I have been using a 5" Yum Dinger (watermelon seed) weightless. Most of 'em have been the usual 3/4lb. to lb. class, but we've caught a few 2-4 pounders.

Also, the 3 lakes adjacent to Alder (forgive me I don't know their names) I was walking the banks of the middle lake and I saw the biggest bass I have seen in a long time. She was soo big I thought she was a carp. I work with a tape measure all day everyday and I'm pretty savvy with measurements. If I were to guess I would say 22'' NO PROBLEM maybe bigger and she was a fatty too. Unfortunately I scared her away trying to cast to her. Just seeing her got my adrenaline pumping, it was a thrill. I didn't know it, but the big ones are out there.

Hope the info helps,
-Snogle
