Cedar Report - 050610

I hit Cedar today with the intentions of popping a pop-r in the wind. I had a jig with me just in case and it landed me one bass in a reliable location. The highlights of the day and the totals definitely were due to the pop-r. I landed 7-8 on the pop-r including a nice two pounder. This bass jumped clear out of the water like the sharks you see on Discovery Channel. I was in such awe that I didn't realize that it had the lure in its mouth. I pulled the line tight, played the bass in, and snapped a photo.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
