Beech Report - 04/24/10

After a long work week and even some more work this morning, I opted to head out for a couple of hours and fish Beech. The action started quickly as I landed some small bass on a minus-1. I meandered around dodging the rain drops and finally got into some good fish...on back-to-back casts.

I first landed this big bellied female who needs to see a chiropractor, but seemed healthy otherwise. She weighed in at 3lb 4oz.

I then landed this feisty 2lb bass.

Good times!

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

Looks like that fish escaped death as a baby and is living to tell the story.
