4/19, finally got one on Cedar with a spinner bait

I used a new fangled Strike King (at least I think it was) white over blue spinner bait and I got a nice hit over structure in one of my usual haunts.

He wasn't a giant (1lb 10 oz) but he was feisty!

Ever since I went out with Dave Shidler on the Susky I have been throwing a spinner bait with the Kistler Magneseum baitcaster that I have. It just feels good. I am getting to like throwing these baits again, I usually reserve the spinner bait (teeny ones) for white perch.

Brett Bailey, the master Blue Gill fisherman, caught a few nice BG's while I was there.

I think he is hooked on fishing!

Time to go fishin' again!

There you go Ernie! It's been windy enough for spinnerbaits, that is for sure.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
