Alder Report - 04/07/10

Hit Alder today after trying to take advantage of the warming trend we have. I saw a couple of beds, one occupied, but still think it is a bit early for the main spawning population. I tossed a fluke the whole time and landed four. Biggest probably went a pound which is a bit surprising because I typically avoid the small bite with a fluke.

I saw crew of "hand" fisherman invading the property...but I am non-confrontational, so, I let them be.

I also tossed the fluke a couple times in Beech and landed two more.

Good day.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
