Based on the flood forecast, we may need to go to Plan B.

Plan B- fish Lake Anna, hot side in the NHBA Tourney. Entry fee is $10. You guys can fish as "guests".

If you do that put me as an alternate...I have not been able to find a backseat..

Two of the club members have houses on the hot side so we use their community ramp....not sure exactly where it is yet.

Hey Charlie, try sending out an email to all the members asking for a ride. Lots of guys wait until the last minute before deciding to go or not, so I'm sure there will be some open decks. Charlie Taylor was talking you guys up big-time at the meeting for helping out at the flea market, so I'm sure someone will step up and help you out.

See you guys out there!

Four guys bass fishing will be a trip but we are going to go it. I need to set up the plan but shotgun start is at 7 AM. The weigh in is at 3 PM. There is a Tourney fee of $100 PER PERSON......I mean, $10 P/P.

Each person should bring their own food and drinks.....plus a few extra drinks for the boat owner (who now only drinks water and unsweetend iced tea).

I think we should limit rods to 2 each due to space limitations. More later.......

Re: Sat, 3/20, Weather permitting........explore the Potomac (Pohick Bay)

Thanks for the clarification Ernie. My wife asked if I was fishing this weekend and I didn't know after all of the posts. Shotgun start at 7am...meaning we leave at?

Re: Sat, 3/20, Weather permitting........explore the Potomac (Pohick Bay)

I really want to. I need to figure out when my parents are flying in from their vacation because I have to pick them up from the airport. They didn't tell me when they left so I have to give them a ring in Australia. How long do you think this adventure will last? I'm going to try and find out by tomorrow night. if you need an answer sooner, count me out, but I will let you know ASAP!

Sorry to ask again Ernie, but when do we need to meet up and leave?

Probably need to rendezvous at your house at 4 to get down there by 600-630 for a 7am launch. If we are not tourney fishing, then we can push it back. I am flexible. It is getting me out of two weekend days of errands! I will only be sequestered by the wife for Sunday. Nice!

And I was hoping that 800 was my next milestone for the forum. Something to strive for I guess. 1000 by year's end.
