Pavilion Report - 112909

Took the last couple of hours of sunlight after completing errands and the honey-do list to do some long overdue fishing. I fished around half of Pavilion throwing a jig and weightless trick worm. The fish were nowhere to be found for the most part. I did manage one bass, about 1lb, deep. This fish was in roughly 8-10ft of water off a deep point, sitting on the bottom. I hooked the bass and essentially dragged it along the surface up to the shore = NO FIGHT. I caught it on a jig and pig, slowing moving it along the bottom. The fish was pale white meaning it had been deep for a while. Unfortunately, the fish also had parasites both on its tail and in its gills. I put it back and it swam off, but you hate to see that. Anyhow, one bite. One fish. Better than nothing and what a beautiful weather day!

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
