Ernie- skunk.....in my kayak, had two hook ups but lost them both. One was deep and the other one off the grass. I had many teeny bass trying to eat my Case sticks. Somehow, we avoided the storms.
Dustin- skunk...he was in a canoe. I will let him tell you what he did and didn't do.
Patrick- he got two fish.....in a kayak. he has pictures and can tell about it.
All in all, a great afternoon but slim pickings. I threw the kitchen sink at 'em!

As Ernie mentioned, I landed two (for two) on the resevoir. It was a tough bite, but I was successful with a black and blue 6" yumdinger. The first fish, on a weighted yumdinger, was the healthier of the fish, but was shorter. It attacked the lure as soon as it hit the water. Since I got him early on, I opted not to photograph it. Then an hour later, I was targeting a group of baitfish with a weightless yumdinger and landed the second, longer bass (13"). This guy was far skinnier but still put up a nice fight.
Thanks for the kayak sir. I had a blast!
