Pavilion Report - 080409

I hit the Pavilion yesterday in an effort to cool the pressure on Cedar and check to see how are "population thinning" activities are benefitting the lake. It was a slow start, but things picked up once I landed my first fish...albeit a 4in bass! Fortunately, that was followed up by a healthy 1lb 6oz bass. I proceeded to catch 10 or so (I tend to lose track) mostly in the shallower water. I had a few over 12" which was encouraging. Actually, most of my fish were 11" or better.

The fishing is harder, but the quality is improving. Mission accomplished from last year if you ask me!

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
