I stared out with 2 bass rods and put them away and started to throw the 7 1/2' four weight fly rod. I picked up a few bluegill and then I got a nice bass that was a bit over a pound...great pullage on the 4 wt.

Then I moved to the point and caught about a dozen more blue gill.... all were medium sized.

I saw a bass come out of the water and I immediately followed it with my spider fly and landed another one that was over a pound...nice bend on the rod......I even got Jeffie's attention on that one. I also picked up one that went about three.....ounces that is....nice looking little bass!

No pictures...even though I had my camera.
