really tough bite as the high pressure was in.
went to a drop shot
used old scraps of plastic baits
a piece of a senko, or a brush hog, trimmed to 2", was plenty good for plenty of shorties.
4# line, 9' UL rod, made for good fun.
no drama on hook sets, just reel up on the weight.
Gamakatsu finesse hooks
the clean water makes it possible
