Anybody been to Goose Creek of Algonkian recently?
I was hoping to do some smallie fishing with a buddy this week and I was wondering if either Goose Creek or the Potomac are wade-able right now. What are they looking like as far as clarity, temp, etc...?

I drive over Goose Creek every day. The water level is lowering and the water is clearing up, but it is still high comparatively speaking. By this weekend it should be lower and more clear.
If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

thanks. I think we're aiming for Thursday or Friday. Hopefully it will be fishable by then. If not, then we will find lake or something.

The water looks better and lower. I would plan on shore fishing unless you get out of the main flow where you might be able to wade.
If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

We were out for a couple hours. We landed a few tiny ones above the rapids at the landing and slightly above the rapids. Pretty slow day though. I hope you did better.
