jeff - I'm not familiar enough with the N Fork
the S. Fork does have places for jets though - if you can get out sunday, lemme know and I'll put you in the front seat of the pontoon - vmineck01@hotmail.com
ernie - water temps topped out around 66 yesterday, but are dropping again with this cold front - shouldn't be long - we'll get something together in May

I'm just an okay guy that sold ernie my old kayak and want to see him flip it!
jeff and I have coordinated and he's likely familiar with some of my antics from RS
looking forward to it!

Josh- What is RS?

RS is riversmallies.com
a sight about river smallmouth - many of the guys you ran into at the PRSC are members, including herschel, which is how he and I met to begin with.
fairly big site, around 4000 strong, though much like the PRAC - only about 10% actually do most of the chatter, some good guys though, lots to be learned, even by just doing a search through the archives - and some of the best gatherings you can imagine. Jeff little, an awesome smallie angler, runs an outfit called blue ridge kayak fishing - blueridgekayakfishing.com - check out that site too - they've got a forum as well - but jeff can teach you more in a day of kayak fishing that I could in 4 weekends - and teach you a good bit about smallies too.
Jeff - email coming - see ya sunday

I met Jeff Little on Wednesday, he was tying up some jigs. I was impressed with his knowledge and the fact that he is ALWAYS out on the water on his yak (Wilderness) even in the cold. I sat and listened to him fior 10-12 minutes before the meeting started.
I'm looking forward to some smallie trips...used to be my favorite kind of fishing. Only caught one last year.

let's make it that fav again brother - no doubt its mine - and the boats are cheaper than rockfish boats!
I'm getting a big ol buzzbait that Jeff tied for me to throw at musky tomorrow
