wed cedar ash

got a fair keeper at ash on J&P in the am
went to cedar another keeper then zip

cedar pm got a few keepers on lime rattletrap
missed a few hits
took center hook off rattle trap
runs far more weedless, and with a wider wobble
will cost me some shorties, but i think the big'ns eat it good enough the get hooked
may place a larger, better treble on rear also
shaves salad removal time, and helps expand shallow presentation (still running w/o the salad attached )

i also got a really thorough shower on the backstretch from mother nature.
no warning=instant downpour
big cold drops & plenty of 'em

Re: wed cedar ash

Cedar was odd this morning. You caught one as soon as you arrived and I was pretty damn sure I was going to skunk out as I was about 3/4 of the way around without so much as getting a sniff at a fish. In the rest of the lap I caught 4 more and it was getting to be fun, sadly it also became time for me to head off to work hmm

Ive never thought of taking the center hooks off.... interesting. I might have to try that on the repela things I am so addicted to useing as cleaning weed off them every other cast gets tiresome
