Backyard Archery

Anyone know the laws in the LC about shooting a bow in the backyard? I can't find any laws on the LC.gov website and Fairfax county's laws were written up to the effect that you could do it as long as there was a reasonable chance that your arrow would not hit someone else property. Is Loudoun the same, nothing on the books?

Re: Backyard Archery

I am not positive, but isn't there a 5 acre rule stating that the property must be at least 5 acres big?

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

Re: Backyard Archery

I used to shoot into my garage all the time. I assumed it was illegal, so I was always distrect. I am pretty sure you have to be west of belmont ridge road to discharge a weapon. Bows are considerd weapons.
