Wandered out to the pond this evening to check on the dead fish. Did not see any more of them which is a good thing. Took my rod with me this time. Fished for about 30 mins with a pig n jig before I got it stuck on some lilly pads and lost it
Switched out to a shallow diving repela carried on for around another 30 mins with nadda. Just as light started to fade though there were fish splashes all over the place.. a good sign ! managed to land about a 2lb one was pretty long but skinny before the pond once more quietened down, it became too dark and my stomach told me it was way past dinner time.

Beautiful evening for fishing, wish it would have lasted longer
