I set up to fish near the top 2 fountains.
I threw spinnerbait, jig n pig, and senko.
No dice.
& I mean i worked each offering thoroughly.
so as a last resort, here comes silver, my favorite rattletrap and current king of the tacklebox.
I throw this bait probably 50 times,- fast, slow, yo yo , rip pause etc.
I throw it into a pool I know holds good fish, and finally tease a 3-7 out of the grass.
KVD says if you are on a spot you think holds fish, hammer it w/ crankbaits and eventually one will swat it.
I have hit bass frequently w/ multiple casts at the same target.
I have also worn out my shoulder and caught nothing, but then some days are like that.
I got a 3-4 monday at dusk using the pound and vary w/ the rattletrap.
I found a deep water area in ashburn that has me very curious.
I plan to start probing that next
