anyone heard of Stu Burgoon?

I have an opportunity to go out for stripers in the bay in May through a connection my dad has at work. I think the Captain is somehow related to one of my father's coworkers. I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything about him, good or bad.

Deale, MD. South of Annapolis. I don't know where the heck that is and I've never heard of it before but that is what I was told.

From the beltway in MD, Deale is the closet place to the bay...just past Upper Marlboro.

I do not know of him but you will be trolling on a very nice 46' boat!

I have never been out in the bay or fished for stripers before. The guy my dad works with says that mid-May is usually a good time for big fish but I have no idea if that is true or not.

I wish we could do some casting, even if it was for smaller fish, but I guess trolling will be fun too.

You will get some nice fish at that time of the year (as the big ones head back out of the bay). Trolling is one way and it's as much fun as you make it. I would prefer to jig or throw but the boat you are going on is a trolling machine!

Yeah, that's what I figured. Maybe we will cast and jig if we find some fish. Either way, I'm sure it will be fun, I'd just rather be able to cast instead of just grabbing a rod and reeling a fish in.

Trolling is good for the conversation, relaxation, and to avoid getting seasick!

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
