Beech and Cedar Report - 3-30-09

I decided to check out the post cold front bluebird sky conditions yesterday (30th). I ended up with a short bass from Cedar on a spinnerbait.

I figured a smaller presentation may be more valuable and enticing so I switched to a 3in Power Minnow from Berkley and ended up with five from Beech (all short).

The flies and bugs were prevalent on Beech with the fishing breaching often. I recommend you fly fisherman get out there at sundown and enjoy the easy pickings!

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

Matt and I went on the 31st.  We fly fished both beech and cedar.  I had 13 bluegill.  Matt had 6 or 7 bluegill and a bass.
