Beech and Alder Report - 03/12/09

I decided to face the elements yesterday knowing that the the fish would be patterned differently. After making some adjustments including slowing my presentation down significantly and switching from a constant retrieve to a cast and wait approach, I avoided the skunk:

Alder - 1 bass
Beech - 1 Bluegill

I caught both fish on a small tube attached to a 1/16 jighead suspended beneath a small bobber roughly 18 inches below the water's surface.

I am hesitant to get back out for the next few days due to the weather, but I hope some of you all have the chance.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
