Alder Report - 2/25/09

I hit Alder for about 45 minutes in search of the infamous X-Mas trees. I fished all around the west cove from the from the south side culvert to the north side opposite the culvert. I think I may have possibly hit one tree, but that was it. I fished with a spinnerbait and a jig. I knew I should have been there to drop the trees!

BTW - no bites.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

They might not have moved in there yet. It was frozen over yesterday morning.

I cast as far as my little casting heart could cast...I guess I need 4lb line and a 1/2 oz lure to sling it across the way.

Perhaps I will get out there later today if the rain holds off.
